The IJD is made up of 4 departments, each different in their applications and in their sources of funding.

music school

Open to amateurs aged 4 to 25. Classes, recitals, concerts and various events punctuate the academic year.

The School of Music is subsidised by the State of Geneva.

the department of eurhythmics and health

This department is organised into four sectors :

  • eurhythmics at the service of seniors
  • eurhythmics at the service of health
  • eurhythmics at the service of people with disabilities
  • eurhythmics at the service of integration

This department is self-financed thanks to private funding.

the international department

  • visits, summer courses, congresses

adult courses and postgraduate training

lessons for amateur or experienced adults :

  • rhythmics for adults
  • adult and seniors’ choir
  • piano improvisation for musicians and rhythmicians
  • listen differently: repertoire through improvisation for musicians and rhythmicians

training courses for experienced rythmicians :

  • specific training modules
  • continuing education
  • Diplôme Supérieur
  • online training via the e-dalcroze platform

Postgraduate training is self-supported thanks to private funding.
